Building it right, the first time
As a general contractor, Henson Construction takes full responsibility for turning your drawings into a finished building. Since 1964 we’ve built schools, hospitals, offices, dealerships, municipal buildings and detention facilities across Oklahoma and Southern Kansas — and we bring every one of those lessons to your project.
What sets our general contracting apart
You get our best people, every time. When you hire Henson, you are not getting an inexperienced project manager or superintendent. A project manager / estimator is assigned at the start, a field superintendent manages daily work on site, and that team stays with your project until it’s complete.
More bids, lower cost. Our database of past project and current market cost data — and an unmatched list of qualified subcontractors and suppliers — lets us solicit a large number of bids for every division of work. More competition drives your project cost down.
Lower insurance and bond costs. Henson’s safety record has earned an experience modifier of 0.80 — a 20% credit on workers’ compensation insurance — and our financial strength earns one of the lowest rates for performance and payment bonds. Those savings flow directly to the project.
Costs you can see. We track job costs in Timberline construction accounting software and produce weekly job-cost reports showing expenses to date and balance remaining for every division, so issues are caught early — not at the end.
